Fatsia polycarpa Green Fingers

Fatsia polycarpa Green Fingers

Fatsia polycarpa ‘Green Fingers’ is an evergreen, architectural shrub valued for its bold, glossy, deeply lobed green foliage and its ability to brighten shaded, sheltered spots. Best in humus-rich, moist but well‑drained soil, it prefers light shade to full shade and protection from cold, drying winds. In Ireland’s mild areas it can make a handsome focal point for courtyards or north/east-facing borders, with creamy-white flower clusters appearing in late autumn. Ultimately forms a substantial shrub, commonly reaching around 2–3m in height and spread over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
