Verbena off. 'Bampton' 2 Ltr pot

Verbena officinalis ‘Bampton’ is a graceful, long-flowering perennial with slender, dark-tinted foliage and airy, branching stems carrying small purple-lilac blooms from early summer into autumn. Best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it weaves beautifully through mixed borders and gravel plantings, pairing well with ornamental grasses and late-summer perennials. Cut back old stems in late winter or early spring as new growth appears. Hardy in most parts of Ireland, especially in free-draining positions out of prolonged winter wet.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
