Syringa meyeri Palibin
Syringa meyeri Palibin
Syringa meyeri ‘Palibin’ is a compact, rounded deciduous lilac with neat dark green foliage and dense clusters of strongly fragrant lilac‑pink flowers in late spring to early summer. Well suited to smaller gardens and sunny borders, it performs best in full sun and fertile, well‑drained soil that is neutral to alkaline. Fully hardy across Ireland, it can be lightly pruned after flowering to maintain its tidy shape, and typically reaches about 1.5m in height and spread over time.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
