Sidalcea 'Little Princess'
Sidalcea Little Princess
Sidalcea ‘Little Princess’ is a compact, clump-forming deciduous perennial for the front of sunny or lightly shaded borders. Upright stems carry saucer-shaped pink blooms in early to mid-summer, above fresh green, lobed foliage. Best grown in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in Ireland; position in full sun or light shade and water during dry spells. Deadhead or lightly shear after the main flush to keep plants neat and to encourage the possibility of a few later flowers. Ideal for informal cottage-style plantings and smaller spaces, reaching around 30–45cm in height and spread.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
