SALVIA nemorosa Sensation Compact White

SALVIA nemorosa Sensation Compact White

Salvia nemorosa Sensation Compact White is a neat, clump-forming perennial prized for its dense spires of pure white flowers held above fresh green foliage. Best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it makes a reliable front-of-border or container plant for Irish gardens, providing a long summer display that’s especially attractive to bees. Deadhead the spent spikes to encourage further blooms through late summer, and cut back the faded stems after flowering; tidy the clump in late winter or early spring. Ensure good drainage to avoid winter wet.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
