Salvia m. 'Delice Fiona'®

Salvia m. 'Delice Fiona'®

Salvia m. 'Delice Fiona'® is a compact, long-flowering shrubby sage valued for its aromatic foliage and generous display from early summer into autumn. Best in full sun with shelter from cold winds, it thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soil and copes with drier spells once established. Ideal for mixed or cottage-style borders and containers, it typically reaches around 60–90cm in height and spread. Deadhead through the season to encourage further blooms, and trim lightly in spring to maintain a bushy shape. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils, and in colder areas consider winter protection to guard against severe frost and winter wet in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
