Salvia Love & Wishes
Salvia Love & Wishes
Salvia ‘Love & Wishes’ is a long-flowering, half-hardy shrubby salvia valued for its rich purple blooms held on dark stems from early summer into autumn. Best in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it forms a compact, bushy plant around 60–90cm tall and to about 60cm wide, ideal for mixed borders and large containers in Irish gardens. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, providing sustained seasonal colour.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
