Salvia greggii Royal Bumble

Salvia greggii ‘Royal Bumble’ is a compact, woody-based perennial, usually semi-evergreen in mild Irish gardens, with aromatic dark-green leaves and a long season of vivid red flowers from early summer into autumn. Grow in full sun in moderately fertile, well-drained soil; deadhead to extend flowering and avoid winter wet. Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, it suits warm, sunny borders or containers and reaches around 1m high and wide at maturity. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
