Salvia greggii 'Nachtvlinder' 2 Ltr pot

Salvia greggii 'Nachtvlinder' 2 Ltr pot

Salvia greggii 'Nachtvlinder' is a compact, long-flowering sage with aromatic green foliage and rich, deep purple blooms carried from early summer into autumn. Best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it’s ideal for sunny borders and containers in Irish gardens, where its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Deadheading helps extend the display; provide sharp drainage and a sheltered spot to aid overwintering, and trim lightly after flowering to keep plants bushy. Expect an eventual height in the 60–90cm range.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
