Rock Rose Helianthemum Bunbury (2Ltr Pot)

Rock Rose Helianthemum Bunbury (2Ltr Pot)

Helianthemum ‘Bunbury’ is a low, spreading rock rose forming a compact, matting mound of small evergreen to semi-evergreen leaves, ideal for sun-baked banks, rockeries and the front of well-drained borders. In late spring to early summer it carries masses of open, saucer-shaped flowers, and it thrives in full sun on poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil, including sandy or chalky ground. Once established it is drought tolerant and copes well with dry, sunny positions; trim over lightly after flowering to keep it tight and encourage fresh growth. Expect around 20–30cm in height with a spread to about 60cm. Fully hardy in Ireland.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
