Rhus typhina Tiger Eyes C10
Rhus typhina Tiger Eyes C10
Rhus typhina ‘Tiger Eyes’ is a deciduous shrub grown for its finely cut, fern-like foliage that emerges chartreuse and develops bright yellow tones, then colours richly orange to red in autumn. Small, greenish summer flower panicles are typically inconspicuous. For the best leaf colour, plant in full sun; it will also cope with light shade. Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil, and remove any unwanted suckers to maintain a neat clump. Fully hardy and well suited to Irish gardens.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
