Rhododendron 'Wren' 20-25 cm.

Rhododendron 'Wren' 20-25 cm.

Rhododendron ‘Wren’ is a compact, mound-forming dwarf evergreen rhododendron valued for its soft yellow, funnel-shaped spring flowers over neat, dark green foliage. Well-suited to Irish gardens, it performs best in light, dappled shade and a sheltered position, in acidic, humus-rich, moisture-retentive yet free-draining soil. An excellent choice for the front of borders, heather or rock gardens, and containers of ericaceous compost. Mulch annually with leafmould or pine needles, avoid lime/chalk, and deadhead after flowering; keep evenly watered during dry spells while establishing.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
