RHODANTHEMUM Casablanca

RHODANTHEMUM Casablanca

Rhodanthemum ‘Casablanca’ is a compact, mound-forming perennial prized for its finely cut, silvery foliage and a profusion of clean white, daisy-like flowers with sunshine-yellow centres in late spring and early summer. Ideal for Ireland’s sunnier spots, it thrives in full sun with sharp drainage, making an excellent choice for rock gardens, gravel plantings, raised beds, and the front of dry, well-drained borders or containers. Expect a neat cushion around 20–25cm tall, spreading to about 30cm; deadhead spent blooms to encourage a tidy display and further flowering. Plant in light, sandy or gritty soil and avoid winter wet by improving drainage or using a raised position.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
