Ranunculus Orange
Ranunculus Orange
Ranunculus Orange is a vibrant selection of Ranunculus asiaticus, prized for its richly coloured, double, bowl-shaped orange blooms in late spring to early summer. Compact plants with finely divided, fresh green foliage are excellent for sunny borders, containers and cutting, providing long-lasting flowers for display. For reliable results in Irish gardens, grow in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, keeping the compost or soil evenly moist while in active growth but avoiding winter wet. This is best treated as half-hardy: plant tubers after the last frost or start under cover, deadhead to prolong flowering, then allow foliage to die back and lift and store the tubers dry if you wish to replant next year.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
