PITTOSPORUM tenui. 'Irene Patterson' 12L

PITTOSPORUM tenui. 'Irene Patterson' 12L

A compact, slow-growing evergreen pittosporum with small, gently wavy leaves attractively marbled cream and green, providing year-round colour and fine texture. In late spring to early summer it bears small, dark purple flowers. Best grown in Ireland in a sunny or lightly shaded, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil; trim lightly after the risk of frost to maintain a neat, rounded shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
