Phlox Famous Purple 3lt
Phlox Famous Purple 3lt
Phlox ‘Famous Purple’ is a clump-forming garden phlox valued for its showy heads of rich purple flowers in mid- to late summer, ideal for adding long-lasting colour to mixed and cottage-style borders and excellent for cutting. In Irish gardens it performs best in full sun to light shade in moist, fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep evenly watered during dry spells, deadhead spent blooms to extend flowering, and allow good air circulation around plants to help avoid mildew. Attractive to visiting pollinators.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
