Philadelphus Manteau de Hermine

Philadelphus ‘Manteau de Hermine’ is a compact, deciduous mock orange prized for its richly scented white blossom in early summer. Ideal for Irish gardens, it thrives in full sun or light shade and in fertile, moist but well‑drained soil. Its neat habit makes it well suited to smaller borders or planting near paths and seating where the fragrance can be enjoyed. Prune after flowering by thinning some of the flowered stems to strong buds or to the base to maintain shape and encourage new growth.
