PERSICARIA amp. 'Orange Field'
Vigorous and reliable in Irish gardens, Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Orange Field’ is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial producing slender, upright wands of soft orange flowers from midsummer into autumn above broad green foliage. It performs best in moisture-retentive, moderately fertile soil and grows well in full sun or light shade, making a superb, long-season feature for mixed or naturalistic borders. The plentiful blooms are valuable to pollinators; maintain by removing spent stems through the season and cutting back old growth in late winter.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
