PENSTEMON Pensham 'Laura'
PENSTEMON Pensham 'Laura'
A long-flowering, semi-evergreen border penstemon from the Pensham series, valued for its upright stems of bell-shaped blooms that carry the display from mid-summer into autumn. Best in fertile, well-drained soil with plenty of light, it performs well in Irish gardens given good drainage and regular deadheading to prolong flowering. Cut back in spring once new growth is visible, and avoid winter wet for longevity.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
