PARAHEBE 'Porlock' 3L

PARAHEBE 'Porlock' 3L

Parahebe ‘Porlock’ is a compact, mound-forming, semi-evergreen shrub with neat green foliage and masses of white flowers from early summer into early autumn. Well suited to Ireland’s milder areas, it performs best in full sun or light shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil, particularly on light, sandy or chalky ground. Ideal for the front of a sunny border, coastal plantings, raised beds or containers with sharp drainage. Expect an eventual height of about 60–90cm with a slightly wider spread; trim lightly after the main flowering to keep a tidy shape. Provide shelter from severe frost and cold, drying winds.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
