Osteospermum 'Margarita' lilac P17

Osteospermum 'Margarita' lilac P17

A compact, half-hardy evergreen osteospermum for Irish gardens, Osteospermum ‘Margarita’ lilac bears daisy-like blooms in lilac-purple from early summer into autumn when grown in full sun. Best in well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it’s ideal for sunny borders and containers; deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued display, and give protection from frost by growing in a warm, sheltered spot or moving containers under cover before cold weather.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
