Monarda 'Garden View Scarlet'

Monarda 'Garden View Scarlet'

Monarda 'Garden View Scarlet' is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial grown for its aromatic green foliage and vibrant, scarlet-red flowers held in shaggy whorls through midsummer. Reaching around 60–90cm tall, it thrives in moisture-retentive, fertile, well-drained soil in sun or light shade and benefits from consistent moisture and good air circulation. A superb choice for mixed and cottage borders, it is highly attractive to bees and butterflies and brings bold summer colour to Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
