Molinia caer. 'Edith Dudszus' 2L, square pot

Molinia caer. ‘Edith Dudszus’ is a deciduous moor grass forming neat, upright clumps of narrow green leaves that turn golden-yellow in autumn. From late summer, slender stems rise with airy purple-brown flower panicles that shimmer in the breeze and persist into autumn, bringing fine texture and movement. Grow in sun or light shade in Ireland, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil that does not dry out in summer; fully hardy and reliable. Low-maintenance: leave the stems for winter effect, then cut back to the base in late winter or early spring.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
