LOBELIA 'Compton Pink' 3L

LOBELIA 'Compton Pink' 3L

Lobelia ‘Compton Pink’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial grown for its upright spikes of soft pink flowers in late summer, providing strong vertical interest in damp borders and near water. Best in fertile, reliably moist soil, it thrives in full sun or light shade and is well suited to Irish gardens with consistent moisture. Deciduous in winter, it typically reaches around 60–90cm in height, making a striking companion for moisture-loving perennials in mixed and bog-style plantings. Apply an organic mulch to help retain soil moisture and give crowns a little protection over winter in colder spots.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
