LIBERTIA grandiflora 3L
LIBERTIA grandiflora 3L
Libertia grandiflora is an evergreen, clump-forming perennial with stiff, dark green, sword-like leaves and branching stems of clean white, three-petalled flowers in late spring to early summer. Ideal for adding year-round structure to mixed and contemporary plantings in Ireland, it thrives in full sun to light shade and moist but well-drained soil. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit; expect around 1m in height with a similar spread over time; remove spent flower stems and tidy old foliage to keep the clump fresh.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
