LEUCANTHEMUM Hosmariense
LEUCANTHEMUM Hosmariense
Leucanthemum hosmariense (often known as Moroccan daisy) is a low, mat-forming evergreen perennial prized for its finely divided, silvery foliage and a long display of white, yellow‑eyed daisies from late spring through summer, often continuing into early autumn. It thrives in full sun and sharply drained, moderately fertile, light or sandy soils, making it ideal for rock gardens, gravel or raised beds, and sunny containers in Ireland; avoid heavy, wet soils and winter waterlogging, and deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowers.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
