LEPTOSPERMUM scop. 'Martini' 3L

LEPTOSPERMUM scop. 'Martini' 3L

Leptospermum scoparium ‘Martini’ is an evergreen tea-tree with fine, narrow foliage and a generous display of small, five‑petalled blossoms in early to mid-summer. For Irish gardens it performs best in full sun and a warm, sheltered position, thriving in neutral to acidic, well-drained, moderately fertile soil; avoid chalky or waterlogged ground. Hardy in milder areas (RHS H3), it benefits from protection from severe frost and cold, drying winds. Lightly trim immediately after flowering to maintain a neat shape and encourage fresh shoots; avoid hard pruning. Ideal for adding texture and seasonal interest to sunny borders or a sheltered courtyard.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
