Lenten Rose Helleborus Mollys White (2Ltr Pot)

Lenten Rose Helleborus Mollys White (2Ltr Pot)

Helleborus ‘Molly’s White’ is a compact, clump-forming Lenten rose prized for its elegant, saucer-shaped white blooms that brighten shaded borders from late winter into spring. A long-lived, semi-evergreen perennial for Irish gardens, it forms neat mounds of leathery, dark green foliage around 30–45cm tall with a similar spread, thriving in partial shade and tolerating deeper shade under trees and shrubs. Plant in moisture-retentive but well-drained, humus-rich soil; it copes well with heavier clay and chalky conditions. Ideal for woodland-style planting, ground cover beneath deciduous shrubs, or bringing early-season interest near paths and entrances. For best display, remove the oldest leaves in late winter before the new flowers and foliage emerge.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
