KNIPHOFIA 'Lemon Popsicle'

KNIPHOFIA 'Lemon Popsicle'

Compact and reliable, Kniphofia ‘Lemon Popsicle’ forms tidy clumps of narrow, grass-like evergreen leaves and sends up slender poker spikes of soft lemon-yellow tubular flowers through summer into early autumn. Ideal for the front of a sunny, well-drained border in Ireland, its clean citrus tones combine beautifully with blues and silvers. Provide full sun and fertile, well-drained soil; remove spent flower spikes to encourage further display and ensure good drainage around the crown to limit winter wet.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
