Hydrangea (JG) macrophylla white P23

A reliable, medium-sized deciduous shrub for Irish gardens, Hydrangea macrophylla (white forms) bears showy white flowerheads in summer through early autumn. It thrives in moist, fertile, well‑drained soil and is best placed in sun or light shade, where the blooms brighten borders and lightly shaded areas. For best performance, keep the soil evenly moist during dry spells and prune lightly in early spring, removing spent flowerheads after the risk of frost while preserving the previous year’s growth that carries the flowers.
