HEUCHERA micran. Palace Purple
Heuchera micrantha ‘Palace Purple’ is a semi-evergreen, clump-forming perennial prized for its large, lobed leaves in deep purple-bronze tones that give long-season colour and contrast at the front of borders, in containers, or as groundcover. In early to mid-summer, slender stems carry airy sprays of small creamy-white flowers above the foliage. Grow in sun or light shade in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil; leaf colour is richest with some sun and steady moisture. Forms neat mounds around 30–60cm tall and wide; remove spent flower stems and older leaves to keep plants tidy.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
