HEUCHERA Eternal Flame
HEUCHERA Eternal Flame
Heuchera ‘Eternal Flame’ is a compact, clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial valued for its neat mounds of foliage and airy sprays of small bell-like flowers in late spring to summer. Reliable in Irish gardens, it performs best in moisture-retentive but well-drained, moderately fertile soil, with sun or (preferably) light shade. Ideal for front-of-border edging, underplanting, and containers, where its tidy habit provides long-season interest. Water in dry spells during establishment, remove faded flower stems, and tidy old leaves in late winter or early spring; divide congested clumps every few years to maintain vigour and avoid waterlogging around the crown.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
