HEUCHERA Cherry Cola
HEUCHERA Cherry Cola
Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ is a compact, clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial valued for its warm-toned, ruffled foliage in bronze-red shades that provides colour for much of the year. In late spring to early summer it sends up slender stems topped with many small, bell-shaped red flowers, adding a light, airy display over the mound. Well suited to the front of borders and containers in Irish gardens, it grows best in sun or light shade in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Remove spent flower stems and any tired leaves to keep plants neat, and ensure good drainage to protect crowns from winter wet.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
