Heuchera Black Beauty

Heuchera Black Beauty is a compact, semi-evergreen perennial valued for its very dark purple, near-black foliage that forms neat, year-round mounds. In early to mid-summer, slender stems carry delicate sprays of small white flowers, providing light contrast above the leaves. Well suited to containers, edging and the front of mixed borders in Ireland, it thrives in sun to light shade on moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil; avoid waterlogging. Clumps generally reach around 30–45cm in height and spread; remove spent flower stems to keep plants tidy.
