Helianthemum 'Lawrensons Pink'
Helianthemum 'Lawrensons Pink'
A compact, mat-forming rock rose valued for its long display of soft pink, saucer-shaped blooms in late spring to early summer. Evergreen foliage forms a low mound ideal for edging, rock gardens, gravel areas, sunny banks and the tops of walls. Thrives in full sun and very well-drained soil, doing especially well on light sandy or chalky ground; avoid heavy, waterlogged sites, particularly in winter. Drought-tolerant once established and happiest in poorer, moderately fertile soils. Lightly trim after flowering to keep a neat shape. Fully hardy in Irish gardens.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
