Helenium 'Tie Dye'
Helenium 'Tie Dye'
Helenium ‘Tie Dye’ is a late-summer herbaceous perennial valued for its cheerful, daisy-like blooms that bring strong colour and pollinator interest to mixed borders. Best grown in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive, humus-rich soil that is moist but well-drained, it performs reliably in Irish gardens where steady moisture supports abundant flowering. Keep the soil from drying out in summer, deadhead to encourage a longer display, and divide congested clumps in spring to maintain vigour; taller stems may benefit from discreet support in exposed sites.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
