Hebe Donna Nikka
Hebe Donna Nikka
Hebe 'Donna Nikka' is a compact, evergreen hebe forming a neat, bushy mound to around 60cm, with small, glossy green leaves. Well-suited to small borders and patio pots, it performs best in Ireland in full sun or light shade, in a sheltered, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Lightly trim after flowering to maintain shape and encourage dense growth; avoid cutting back into old wood. In colder areas and windy sites, provide shelter and ensure good drainage over winter; hebes dislike waterlogged conditions. This cultivar also suits mild, coastal locations.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
