Halimium Libanotis
Halimium Libanotis
An evergreen, sun-loving shrub from the rock rose family, Halimium libanotis is valued for its neat foliage and showy blooms. It performs best in Ireland in a warm, very well-drained spot with poor to moderately fertile, light soil, making it a good choice for coastal and Mediterranean-style planting, gravel gardens and sunny banks. Avoid winter wet and heavy clay; prune only lightly after flowering to maintain shape.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
