Gypsophlia Summer Sparkles P17
Gypsophila ‘Summer Sparkles’ is a graceful perennial baby’s-breath valued for its airy sprays of small white flowers in mid to late summer. Best in full sun, it prefers very well-drained, moderately fertile soil that is neutral to alkaline, thriving on light sandy or chalky ground and disliking heavy, wet conditions. Ideal for adding a soft, cloud-like texture to sunny borders and for cutting or drying, it is fully hardy in Ireland and benefits from an open, free-draining site; avoid disturbing established clumps.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
