GERBERA garvinea Sweet Sparkle

GERBERA garvinea Sweet Sparkle

Gerbera garvinea Sweet Sparkle is a robust Garvinea-series garden gerbera selected for long, reliable flowering outdoors in Ireland, producing masses of daisy-like blooms from late spring through autumn above compact clumps of lobed green foliage. Ideal for sunny borders and containers, it generally reaches around 30–45cm in height and similar spread. Plant in fertile, free-draining soil in full sun, water regularly in dry spells, and remove spent stems to encourage continuous flowering. In colder or very wet winters, ensure excellent drainage and consider a dry mulch to protect the crown from winter wet.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
