Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei'
Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei'
Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei' is a compact, clump-forming cranesbill with masses of vivid pink, saucer-shaped flowers from early to late summer above finely divided, mid-green foliage. Low and tidy, it’s ideal for edging, groundcover and rock gardens, flourishing in sun or light shade on moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Fully hardy and reliable in Irish gardens, it is easy to grow and, once established, tolerates dry conditions in sunny sites; its nectar-rich blooms are attractive to pollinators.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
