Geranium Johnsons Blue
Geranium Johnsons Blue
Geranium ‘Johnson’s Blue’ is a clump-forming hardy cranesbill with finely divided green foliage and abundant saucer-shaped, lavender-blue flowers with darker veining from late spring into midsummer. Reliable in Irish gardens, it thrives in full sun or light shade on moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Ideal for the front of mixed borders and cottage-style plantings, its nectar-rich blooms are valuable to pollinators, and plants typically reach about 45cm tall and around 60cm across over time.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
