EURYOPS PECHTINATUS (IE)
Euryops pectinatus is an evergreen, mound-forming shrub with finely divided grey-green foliage and masses of bright yellow, daisy-like flowers from late spring into autumn. In Ireland it performs best in full sun and very well-drained, moderately fertile soil, with shelter from cold winds; it is frost tender and benefits from container growing so plants can be moved to frost-free protection over winter. Ultimately around 1–1.5m high and wide in favourable, warm conditions; avoid winter wet and prolonged cold.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
