Euonymus jap. White Spire
Euonymus jap. White Spire
Euonymus jap. White Spire is an evergreen selection of Euonymus japonicus valued for its neat, upright habit and dependable, year-round foliage. Well-suited to Irish gardens, it grows best in sun or light shade and in any well-drained soil, including chalk-based soils. It also tolerates coastal conditions. Small, greenish flowers may appear in summer but are usually inconspicuous, so the plant is chiefly chosen for foliage and structure. Ideal for low hedging, clipped shapes, containers, and for adding evergreen backbone to mixed plantings.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
