Digitalis purp. 'Dalmatian White'

Digitalis purp. ‘Dalmatian White’ is a compact, first-year-flowering foxglove bearing upright spires of pristine white, bell-shaped blooms with speckled throats from late spring into mid-summer. Well suited to lightly shaded borders and woodland-style planting in Ireland, it thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich, moderately fertile soil. Excellent for pollinators, especially bees; remove spent flower spikes to tidy and encourage side shoots, or allow a few to set seed for future plants. Typically reaches around 60cm tall, with fresh green foliage forming a basal rosette.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height.
