DICENTRA form. 'Luxuriant'

Dicentra formosa ‘Luxuriant’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial valued for its ferny, divided foliage and graceful sprays of heart-shaped, rosy-pink flowers that appear over a long season from late spring into early autumn. Best in partial shade, it thrives in a moist but well-drained, humus-rich, moderately fertile soil. Ideal for shaded borders and woodland-style plantings in Ireland, it benefits from mulching to conserve moisture, and regular deadheading to encourage continued bloom. Cut back old or tired stems to maintain a fresh display; fully hardy and dependable once established.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
