DIASCIA IN VARIETIES
DIASCIA IN VARIETIES
Diascia in varieties offers soft shades from light and mid pink to coral and white, flowering over a long season above neat, bushy to gently trailing growth. Ideal for containers, hanging baskets and the front of sunny borders in Ireland, they thrive in full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil with regular watering in dry spells. These are half-hardy to tender perennials typically grown as summer bedding; deadhead spent blooms to extend the display and protect plants from frost, overwintering in a bright, frost-free place where feasible.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
