Dianthus Kahori 2LR
Dianthus Kahori 2LR
Dianthus ‘Kahori’ is a compact, long-flowering pinks cultivar for sunny, well-drained spots. It forms a neat, low mound of evergreen to semi-evergreen foliage and carries masses of fragrant pink flowers from late spring into summer, making a colourful edging for paths and borders and a reliable choice for containers. Grow in full sun in well-drained, moderately fertile, neutral to alkaline soil; avoid winter wet and deadhead regularly to extend the display. Eventual size around 25cm tall and 35cm wide; moderate growth rate; fully hardy in Irish gardens.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
