A compact, upright, narrowly conical evergreen conifer selected for its bright yellow foliage, which keeps best colour in full sun; the scale-like leaves are pleasantly aromatic with a fresh lemon scent when gently rubbed. Suited to well-drained, moderately fertile soil in Irish gardens, it makes a neat vertical accent for small spaces and formal plantings; in colder inland areas, provide some shelter from drying winds to reduce foliage scorch. Low-maintenance once established and well-suited to mild and coastal locations.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height.
