Cordyline 'Paso Doble'
Cordyline 'Paso Doble'
Cordyline 'Paso Doble' is an evergreen, palm-like cordyline valued for its bold, upright rosette of sword-shaped leaves that lend strong architectural impact to borders and containers. Best in full sun or light shade and fertile, well-drained soil, it is suitable for coastal and more exposed gardens in Ireland. In mild areas, mature plants may produce showy panicles of small, sweetly scented, creamy-white flowers in early to mid-summer. Ideal as a focal point or for adding a tropical accent; remove old or damaged leaves to keep plants tidy. In colder inland areas, provide winter protection during severe frosts.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
